Prince Edward County is full of sand dune beaches, fields of wildflowers, rocky beaches and more wineries, cideries and microbreweries than you can count. You will find luxury bed and breakfasts, boutique hotels and a mix of other unique properties. Our favourite thing about PEC is the mix of incredible talent and down to earth people. We love it here, and we know you will love your experience here too.
With that in mind, we are providing a list of where to stay in Prince Edward County. Keep in mind, many of these beautiful accommodations are not in the heart of any of PEC villages so you will need to plan for some sort of transport to and from wineries, cideries, microbreweries and restaurants. We have created a map at the bottom of the post to help you visualize where each accommodation is located in Prince Edward County. You can add in your must-visit eateries after visiting our Top 6 Places for Foodies in PEC. Originally constructed in 1879 The Royal Hotel Picton has been reimagined by a local Prince Edward County family and reopened in December 2021. The sleek and modern interior, the farm to table ethos, and the quiet luxury of the private terrace and pool make this the place to eat, drink and be wed.
The first time we stepped inside Mirazule (pictured above) we knew we'd found a true oasis. Owners Ian and Miguel have created an adult's only boutique inn with strikingly modern architecture and a jaw-dropping view of the water. Each room at Mirazule offers a luxurious king-size bed with Egyptian cotton bed-linens and a decadent washroom with free-standing tub, skylights and shower. The suites almost make you want to wile away your day in solitude but you'd be remiss if you didn't venture out to the shared spaces to really engage in the full Mirazule experience. Step into the lounge with panoramic views or sip on something delicious by the infinity pool. Let Ian and Miguel introduce you to the very best of County offerings at breakfast and the occasional Sunday dinner party. The connection with other guests, as well as Ian and Miguel is what makes this so much more than a place to stay. We cannot wait to book our experience - this is the perfect place for our anniversary celebration.
