1. The Royal Hotel

‍247 Picton Main Street Picton, ON

Originally constructed in 1879 The Royal Hotel Picton has been reimagined by a local Prince Edward County family and reopened in December 2021. The sleek and modern interior, the farm to table ethos, and the quiet luxury of the private terrace and pool make this the place to eat, drink and be wed. The Royal offers both full weekend buyouts of the hotel and more intimate elopements between Thanksgiving and Victoria Day weekends. The Events Team will personally ensure that your wedding experience is as smooth and relaxing as possible. 2. 100 Acre Wood

931 County Rd 8, Picton, ON

How to describe the enchanting atmosphere of 100 Acre Wood? Impossible. Go visit this beautiful property and bask in the natural oasis and modern amenities that this chef-led, locally inspired venue has to offer. Along with 2 wedding planners (Mary & Elizah), the venue includes a beautiful white chapel, a large tent, a fire pit, and acres of land. They do all the catering on-site and only host one event per weekend of up to 150 people. Their pottery is hand-made by Mary (the owner) and select batches are also available for purchase- a perfect wedding keepsake.

3. The Brighthouse Farm‍

1244 County Rd 2, Wellington, ON

This former dairy farm is perfect for large gatherings, intimate weddings and elopements. Their recently renovated "classy" barn space with two floors provides plenty of room for your festivities and ample catering space. The main house is decorated with mid century modern decor and the sweetest wrap-around porch giving you plenty of options for your wedding photos. Situated on 100 acres of wide open land you'll have all the golden light streaming in during golden hour and exquisite gardens to wander. Wedding weekend experiences include exclusive use of the property and two night stay (sleeps 8) - hello rehearsal dinner and/or after-wedding brunch.

4. Drake Devonshire‍

24 Wharf St. Wellington, ON

This iconic venue overlooks Lake Ontario. Ceremony locations include their glass box, the pavilion, lakeside on the beach or for intimate gatherings the Owner's Suite on the balcony overlooking the water. A stunning location with top-notch food, perfect for weddings and elopements of up to 65 people.

5. Slake Brewing

‍181 Mowbray Road, Prince Edward County, ON

Imagine hosting your intimate wedding overlooking The County as the sun sets and the skies turn shades of pink, red and orange. Slake is a modern, one of a kind brewery for people who love good beer, good food and epic sunsets. For May - October 2022 Slake is offering exclusive access to the brewery Monday-Friday and Sunday evenings for intimate weddings and events. The venue includes the taproom, outdoor open and covered seating spaces, outdoor kitchen (operated by Bloomfield Public House- hello beautiful food) and free range of the grassy premises. 6. The Lakeside Motel‍

349 Wellington Main St, Wellington, ON

The Lakeside Motel is Wellington's largest lake-side deck and bar, with 70' pool. Offering plenty of space for your guests to stay on-site, this up-and-coming venue began offering weddings in 2020.

7. Wander the Resort‍

15841 Loyalist Pkwy, Bloomfield, ON

A unique contemporary venue where you can get married by the beach, think elevated, luxurious and definitely design-focused. Home to 10 dreamy nordic style cabins, you can sleep poolside or lakeside with up to 6 people in each.  The perfect weekend wedding getaway with friends and family with or without children. Historical Wedding Venues in Prince Edward County

1. Merrill House‍

343 Main Street East, Picton, ON

Host your fairytale wedding weekend at Merrill House. Jordan and his team offer exclusive rentals of the house and grounds for up to 34 guests in 14 suites. You and your guests will be treated to luxurious accommodations for two nights, exceptional fine, European catering and masterfully selected wine pairings, and personalized attention from a dedicated wedding team. Host your ceremony in the garden, under the conservatory portico or in the conservatory. The parlour with its Egyptian creation myth mural, upright piano and furnishings by Houtique is ideal for champagne receptions and rehearsals. Then dance the night away in the conservatory bar and wine cellar. Gourmet breakfast is provided both mornings for all guests. What a dream!

2. The CAPE‍

347 Picton Main Street, Picton, ON

Luxurious suites, a grand staircase, salons, a veranda and your own fairytale ballroom. This historical landmark in Picton has been elegantly restored and can accommodate 50-900 guests depending on your wedding. With a full venue buyout you have the opportunity to spend the morning getting ready with your favourite people in two completely separate spaces. Before the ceremony the Burns Parlour and Joplin Hall are beautiful gathering spaces for your wedding party. Host your ceremony in the Wilde Garden, your cocktail hour on the Terrace and your tented reception on the lawn. The Odyssey Ballroom serves as a perfect late-night dance hall or discotheque.  

3. The Eddie Hotel & Farm‍

15786 Loyalist Parkway, Prince Edward County, ON

Located between Bloomfield and Wellington the Eddie is a beautiful example of Loyalist architecture set on 78 acres of property. The Eddie's iconic red barn was originally constructed in 1860 and accommodates up to 165 guests for weddings. The Eddie offers open-air ceremonies by the pond for up to 100 guests with the reception in the barn. We recommend renting the full Main House for getting ready, and the ease of your wedding party spending the evening on-site. Intimate wedding options are available in the Main House.

4. Lake on the Mountain Resort‍

264 County Road 7, Prince Edward County, ON

Lake on the Mountain weddings are currently being offered in partnership with Carriage Lane Elopements. Intimate weddings of 45 people or fewer, from May-October are available for all-inclusive packages (3 hours, officiant and light bites). 2024 is fully booked and they are accepting requests for 2025.

1. Grange of Prince Edward Winery‍

990 Closson Rd. Hillier, ON

This family-run farm turned vineyard is a beautiful and rustic backdrop for your Prince Edward County winery wedding. Offering options for 2-100 people, The Grange events team, led by Marilse Ponzo (a truly wonderful person to work with) works with you to bring your wedding vision to life. Their 200 year old barn has been converted into an event space with a great hall (perfect for cocktail hour and dancing) and dining loft (outfitted with carefully chosen antiques). We've spent many gorgeous golden hours with couples and families, enjoying The Grange wines and famous culinary offerings (led by local chef Matt DeMille).

2. Waupoos Estates Winery‍

3. The Old Third‍

A three-tiered rustic barn that can accommodate up to 100 people seated. 

4. Casa-Dea Estates Winery‍

1186 Greer Rd. Wellington, ON

Using locally sourced ingredients wherever possible, premium wines and views of the vineyard, this indoor venue can accommodate up to 200 guests.

5. Huff Estates Inn & Winery‍

Ok first - we love Compass Rose Suites! Located on 100 acres in Prince Edward County, you can get married indoors in their rustic barn or have an intimate ceremony in their unique greenhouse. You can also opt for an outdoor ceremony in either the forest or meadow ceremony site. 2. Lakecroft

‍89 Sandy Lane, Cherry Valley ON

Lakecroft is a beautiful lakeside space offering boho bell tents, luxurious boutique suits and a countryside chalet. When booking your wedding weekend you will have exclusive access to the entire property - onsite accommodations, waterfront ceremony space, rustic garden shed and lakefront lounge area, and a thirty foot high Nordic Tent reception venue.

3. Cherryvale Weddings‍

1927 County Rd 10, Picton, ON

Cherryvale weddings is situated in 160 acres in Prince Edward County. Their wedding packages include exclusive use of the property for 48 hours, including their four luxury suites, and full use of their commercial kitchen. Their all inclusive package also includes use of Chiavari Chairs, Tables, Linens, Flatware, Glassware and more.

4. Hayloft Dancehall‍

344 Salmon Point Rd. Cherry Valley, ON

The Hayloft Dancehall is best known for epic events - drag, burlesque, concerts - but also offers an event space for weddings. Hosting up to 200 guests, this unique wedding venue has a beautiful open barn space draped with twinkly lights, and a spacious outdoor patio along with parking onsite.

5. Carriage Lane Elopements‍

19 Carriage Lane, Carrying Place, ON

Carriage Lane Elopements is located on the Bay of Quinte and specializes in all-inclusive small weddings and elopements. You can get married anywhere on their one-acre private property. Their carefully cultivated gardens and water-front views offer limitless possibilities for photographs on your wedding day. Carriage Lane can accommodate 2-45 people for wedding ceremonies all year round.

6. Isaiah Tubbs Resort‍

1642 County Road 12, Prince Edward, ON

The private beach overlooks the sand dunes and the reception space can welcome up to 250 guests. A nice place for a casual or rustic wedding on the water or if you just want to feel the sand in your toes as you walk down the aisle.
