Compass Rose Suites is a modern farmhouse style wedding venue located 10 minutes outside of Picton, Prince Edward County. This venue is set on 100 acres of land and includes a two-night stay in their on-site accommodation in all wedding packages.

On-site Accommodation
Modern Farmhouse
Compass Rose Suites Modern Farmhouse has three elegantly furnished suites in addition to a full kitchen, stunning Great Room and many secluded outdoor spaces to enjoy (accommodation for up to 12 guests). Accommodation is provided from 3PM the day before your wedding, until 12PM the day after your wedding.
The Farmhouse is bright with plenty of natural light - a photographer’s dream. It’s perfect for hosting your intimate reception/welcome dinner the evening before your wedding (speak to Compass Rose for information on hosting your rehearsal dinner of up to 20 people on-site), for soaking up time with your closest pals, and for a slow morning post-wedding.
Having exclusive use of the property means you can relax and enjoy time with your chosen people, have your first look anywhere on the premises (no onlookers unless they’re invited), and wander back safely to your accommodation after your evening of celebrating. Enquire with Compass Rose Suites for more information on the option of glamping/camping on-site for additional guests.
If you’re feeling outdoorsy take some time to explore the 25 acres of forest, and 75 acres of regenerating meadow and fields. There are 4km of trails for you to explore at your leisure- heaven!
Locations at Compass Rose Suites for your Wedding Ceremony & Reception
Glass Greenhouse
The Greenhouse can be used for your intimate ceremony or reception or as a relaxing space for guests during cocktail hour. Surrounded by gorgeous gardens this space feels at one with nature, with the convenience of being able to close the doors to the elements. Space for 20 people seated, 30 people standing.
Barn
The Barn can be used for your ceremony, reception or relaxing space for guests during cocktail hour. The cathedral ceilings and rough-hewn pine floors suggest rustic charm, with the modern convenience of four beautiful bathrooms offering wheelchair accessibility. Space for 90 people seated, 150 people standing.
Meadow Ceremony Site
Overlooking a field of wildflowers, this ceremony site has a copper arbor ready for a floral installation of your dreams and wooden bench seating for your guests. You can also opt to bring in your own arbor to be styled by your florist.
Forest Ceremony Site
A short walk or golf cart ride into the forest brings you to a beautiful clearing. There is something really special about being surrounded by the tall trees as the wind gently whispers through the leaves. You have access to French wine barrels and benches for ceremony seating at this site as well.
Fire Pit
Large fire pit for you and your guests to enjoy. Cozy natural rock bench seating. Inclusive of firewood, and blankets for folks who want to be extra cozy. Perfect for gathering during cocktail hour, or after dinner as the sun sets beyond the horizon.
Tent
For larger weddings you have the option of renting a Tent (this one is from Gervais Rentals) which can seat up to 150 people. Tent rental is not included in Compass Rose Suites pricing.
